Travel, passes and equipment
Airport transfers
Regional airport transfers connect arriving participants with Alta Badia through the Dolomite valley routes. Book shared transfers in advance.
Lift passes
Ski pass desks are located near the main event hub. Collect your pass there before the first race day.
Ski hire
Ski hire depots sit close to the event hub. Pick up and return equipment at the depot nearest your accommodation.
On the mountain
Dress in layers and check conditions
Winter mountain conditions call for layered technical clothing, including a windproof outer layer and warm gloves. Check the weather forecast before each day and allow extra time for travel on snowy roads.
Suitable winter tyres are required for road travel in the valley. Altitude can affect energy levels, so acclimatise gently in your first days. Keep the local medical contact details to hand throughout your stay.
